On June 24, the American Chiropractic Clinic (ACC) – a member of the FV Group – held an event to celebrate its 20th anniversary of operation in Vietnam. This was not only an occasion to look back on the journey passed, but also a milestone marking a new stage of development for ACC with its positioning as the “Expert in Motion”.
Over the past 20 years, driven by rapid urbanization, office jobs becoming more prevalent, and changing physical activity habits, musculoskeletal-spine issues and sports injuries have gradually become top health concerns in modern life. Recognizing this trend since the beginning of its journey in Vietnam in 2006, ACC pioneered the introduction of Chiropractic care to the community, opening up a new approach to musculoskeletal health for Vietnamese people. From its first clinic in Ho Chi Minh City in 2006, ACC has steadily expanded into a system of 3 clinics across Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon, Chairman of ACC Clinic System, affirmed:
“For the past twenty years, ACC clinic system has accompanied thousands of Vietnamese patients of all ages on their journey of treatment and recovery. As lifestyles, movement habits, and quality of life expectations constantly evolve, ACC also continuously adapts to meet these new needs. We are committed to helping people maintain comfortable mobility, enjoy an active lifestyle, and work towards sustainable long-term health and physical well-being.”
ACC’s medical team consists of expatriate doctors who undergo specialized Chiropractic training in the United States and are certified by the U.S. National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Utilizing a comprehensive treatment model that combines Chiropractic care, Physical Therapy, and Rehabilitation, ACC continues its direction of providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care in accordance with international standards. Furthermore, its role as a member of the FV and Thomson medical ecosystem opens up more potential for ACC to enhance its professional quality and patient experience in this new phase of growth.
A highlight of the program was the panel discussion titled “20 Years of ACC Clinic – The Journey of Motion,” featuring Dr. Rabie Sleiman – Medical Director of ACC, Ms. Ngo Boi Chi – Clinic Manager of ACC Tan Da, and Mr. Lam Quang Nhat – Triathlete and former Vietnamese national swimming athlete.
Through insights from three distinct perspectives, the discussion painted a closer, more personal picture of ACC’s 20-year journey. From a clinical perspective, Dr. Rabie Sleiman shared insights on the shifting health awareness among Vietnamese patients, as more people proactively focus on mobility, recovery, and long-term quality of life. From an operational standpoint, Ms. Ngo Boi Chi brought everyday yet emotional stories about accompanying, listening to, and caring for patients through each stage of their treatment.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lam Quang Nhat’s story showcased a very different definition of “motion”: a journey of overcoming injury to continue pursuing a passion for sports. Following his treatment and rehabilitation at ACC, he successfully returned to competition and achieved outstanding results at IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam 2026 in Da Nang.
The closing message of the panel discussion was profound: recovery does not mean everyone has to become a professional athlete to conquer peak competitions. The definition of “motion” is completely unique to each individual it could simply be an office worker working more comfortably, an elderly person walking with greater ease, or a child confidently playing every day. Most importantly, it is about how we understand our own bodies and define our personal health goals. ACC Clinic is always ready to accompany you to enjoy life to the fullest.
In this new era, ACC will continue to invest in international-standard clinical expertise, enhance patient experience, and develop its comprehensive musculoskeletal care model. The clinic system will also step up public awareness activities, contributing to a more modern approach to movement and physical health care in Vietnam.
