Last Sunday, September 28, 2025, ACC Hanoi Clinic was honored to partner with the Aqua-Tots International Swim School System to host a free Flat Feet and Scoliosis Screening event. The event was organized on the occasion of
Aqua-Tots celebrating its 5-year milestone in Vietnam and attracted significant interest from parents.
This event is a testament to ACC’s commitment to proactively caring for the core health of the younger generation, building a solid foundation for their physical and mental development.
Prioritizing Foundational Health for the Future Generation
With the message, “More than safe swimming – it’s about healthy development”, ACC’s medical team conducted in-depth examinations and assessments for the students.
The main activities during the screening session included:
- Foot Condition Check: Assessing the arch of the foot to detect early signs of flat feet – a common issue that can later affect gait, knees, and even the spine.
- Posture and Spine Screening: Using specialized examination methods to assess the risk of scoliosis in children, which is especially crucial for this developing age group.
- In-depth 1-on-1 Consultation: ACC specialists provided valuable knowledge on how to monitor and support children’s musculoskeletal health at home, including lifestyle advice and suitable strengthening exercises.
