She has been suffering from pain for many years, but recently extremely acute pain makes it even more difficult for her to move around and she constantly needed help from relatives in her daily life. Mrs. Hao was in so much pain that even a light breath can cause shooting pains through her whole body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When Mrs. Hao came to ACC clinic, her treatments landed in the good hands of <a href=\"https:\/\/acc.vn\/en\/doctors\/dr-erik-w-waardenburg\/\">Dr. Erik Waardenburg<\/a>. Through examination and MRI images, Mrs. Hao was initially diagnosed with a severe condition of spondylolisthesis:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; L5 sacrolizacion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Collapsed vertebral.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Spinal edema at T12, L1, L2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Herniated discs at vertebrae L3\/L4, L4\/L5 caused spinal stenosis and nerve compression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mrs. Hao was provided explanation on the diagnosis and after understanding her situation, she was assigned a treatment plan which included <a href=\"https:\/\/acc.vn\/en\/acc-combined-therapies\/chiropractic-adjustment\/\">Chiropractic adjustments<\/a> combined with <a href=\"https:\/\/acc.vn\/en\/acc-combined-therapies\/physiotherapy\/\">physiotherapy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/acc.vn\/en\/acc-combined-therapies\/rehabilitation-program\/\">rehabilitation<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Chiropractic therapy is prescribed to release compression of the misaligned vertebrae on the nerve and stimulating the body&#8217;s self-healing mechanism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After 3 weeks of treatment, Mrs. Hao was happy to have recovery of more than 80% and could walk easily without any assistance.
