\nTo new medical practitioners, an internship is one of the most crucial opportunities for them to obtain hands-on experience in healthcare. A successful internship provides interns insight into the whole experience of a practicing clinician. This includes building robust professional networks, community engagement, and access to training and development programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2006, ACC Clinic has been Vietnam’s leading chiropractic care provider. Beyond being a devoted healthcare provider, ACC Clinic is also recognized as being qualified to support global and regional commitments in education. With the mission to contribute back to the community & nurture new medical generations, we have designed and launched a comprehensive internship program at our department of rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is one of the core services at ACC Clinic and we are equipped with the skills, competencies as well as facilities necessary to meet the demands of an internship program. In recognition of the strong and proven reputation of ACC in Vietnam, SWU has selected ACC as their most suitable and qualified partner to provide this important support for their students.<\/p>\n

SWU PHIMA – the leading medical and health sciences university in the Visayas and Mindanao (Philippines) has established itself as a reputable leader in medicine and allied health programs, not just in the Visayas region in the Philippines, but globally. The College of Rehabilitative Sciences is one of SWU PHINMA’s primary academic programs with the mission to educate and develop physical therapists with adaptability to multicultural and multidisciplinary work settings, and are able to deploy the knowledge and skills in their profession.<\/p>\n

SWU PHINMA’s vision is to develop a curricular program that is based on individual and collaborative practice. The college wants to prepare students to fulfill their academic and professional goals through a transformative educational journey. In serving this objective, ACC and SWU PHINMA have launched a 2-year partnership, offering exclusive cross border rehab internship programs for students and new medical practitioners from SWU PHINMA. This program intends to fulfill both ACC and SWU PHINMA’s vision to inspire the new generations and molding students into independent clinical practitioners.<\/p>\n

We are pleased indeed to officially announce our Internship Program under this partnership with SWU PHINMA. The program offers 2-month hands-on practice at ACC Clinic’s facilities to enhance the student’s mental, technical and behavioral skills in managing patients with professionalism and expertise. Students are evaluated and graded monthly by ACC Clinic as a part of their certification.<\/p>\n

The program\u2019s ultimate goal is to go beyond academic education in providing guidance for students towards application. The internship is a learning experience that exposes students to the real-world work environment and prepares them for the task ahead. With ACC’s reputation in Vietnam and SEA as one of the most advanced healthcare providers, we hope that with the dedication and determination under expert guidance, the students at SWU PHINMA will be even more ready at the end of this program for the rapidly evolving healthcare industry.<\/p>\n
